Innovation Sandbox is a shared workspace for students to “play” with the latest prototyping/ideation tools, explore new subjects, develop technologies and share knowledge.
Equipped with a variety of resources for students to use, including state-of-the-art equipment, educational programs, and student mentors from all disciplines, the Innovation Sandbox introduces Cal Poly students to cutting-edge technology, enabling them to formulate and develop their ideas in a collaborative workspace.
By applying what you learn in the classroom, working with people from different majors and backgrounds towards a common goal, the Innovation Sandbox is a student-run program that embodies the Learn by Doing philosophy that defines Cal Poly.
The Innovation Sandbox is located in the Bonderson Project Center (building 197) room 205. To learn more, visit www.theinnovationsandbox.com or stop by during open hours. You will see that the students’ passion is palpable. The words “can’t do it” are taboo and you will find that you want to be part of it all.
