April Baserga serves as director of development for Cal Poly’s Orfalea College of Business, with a philanthropic focus on the Center for Innovation & Entrepreneurship (CIE). As the CIE’s frontline fundraiser, she builds relationships with alumni, donors and supporters to advance initiatives that expand access to entrepreneurship for Cal Poly students across disciplines.
Before joining Cal Poly, Baserga spent more than 15 years in hospitality, events and business development, including luxury hospitality and global event sales with the Four Seasons. Her background in creating meaningful experiences and building relationships continues to shape her approach to fundraising and donor engagement.
Baserga earned a Bachelor of Arts in communication from the University of Colorado Boulder. Outside of work, she loves spending time at the beach, swimming and exploring the Central Coast with her family.
