Manager of Student Innovation Programs

Sophie has joined the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) as the Manager of Student Innovation Programs. A Cal Poly alum with four years of experience at a local venture-backed B2B SaaS startup, she knows exactly what it’s like to start from an idea and turn it into something real.
In her new role, Sophie will help grow Cal Poly’s entrepreneurial ecosystem on and off campus. She oversees the Hatchery —the university’s on-campus hub for student entrepreneurs—where she provides workshops, mentorship and resources to support students in developing and launching their innovative ideas.
